The Posh Cowgirl is a Midwest-based mobile boutique created from a love of fashion, horses, community, and Western style. Built to bring the boutique experience on the road, The Posh Cowgirl travels to rodeos, horse shows, and local events across the region.

Each piece is thoughtfully chosen to help women feel confident and empowered with high-quality, cowgirl-inspired fashion that reflects their lifestyle, personality, and love for the Western spirit.

Meet Alyssa

Born and raised in Sioux Falls, Alyssa developed a love for fashion at a young age and decided to dedicate her educational and professional career to helping those around her look and feel their best. After attending college in Boston and graduating with a Bachelors in Fashion & Retail Management, she worked to develop her skills and expand her knowledge of the industry.

Upon returning to Sioux Falls in 2016, Alyssa started a freelance visual merchandising business, Visuals by Nix. That business opened many doors and eventually led her to take over the very boutique she had shopped at since it opened a decade prior.

After six amazing years of owning and operating Posh Boutique in The Bridges at 57th Street, Alyssa made the heartfelt decision to pivot the business. 

Seeking more flexibility and the freedom to explore new opportunities, she rebranded the boutique as The Posh Cowgirl. With the support of customers, friends, and family, Alyssa is embracing this exciting new chapter!
